When I started this blog I did not stop to think of how quickly things change and life happens. I have been working and have completed many new projects. However, finding the time to post what I have been working on has not come easily. Since I last visited both of my kiddos have started school, heaven received another angel and preperation for the Christmas tree farm my in-laws have is in full swing. So I would like to take a few minutes to share a couple projects:
First is the Little Letterman Sweatshirt. After a high school football game and my son asking for something made by me this idea came to light. Thankfully he loved it and has wore it more than twice!
After searching on pinterest for a quick way to organize all of the kiddos neccessaries while in the car, I found this. For $2.50 at the local dollar store and a piece of elastic we are starting to get organized.
I found this shirt at a local resale shop. I love both gray and the moose logo, but it didn't look the best on me. While digging through my stash and trying to organize it as well I came up with this comfy dress for Miss E. She, who is hard to impress these days, has worn it out of the school!
Planning Christmas pictures at the tree farm we needed a color that would POP, so I of course chose red. Going through closets I noticed that Miss E was the only one who had pretty much nothing in that color, unless I was going to dress her in her OSU clothing.....probably wouldn't be the best choice. So after searching one evening she chose a tunic style shirt Jess @ CINO made for her daughter. I used her how to to make a freezer paper pattern and with material I had in my stash her dress hangs waiting for picture day.
After I had the kiddos I was needing something to do with my down time. So while sitting I started knitting. When my in-laws started their tree farm I started selling some hand knitted hats. This is just one of what I have whipped up for this season.

For my hats and other handmade items I finally ordered labels! I have been super excited for them to arrive. Brittany at Sewnique was wonderful to work with. I hope to have a post soon to show the labels and wonderful business cards she designed for me.

And last, but not least, I FINALLY finished my eyelet sweater. I LOVE it. I would like to make another in a cotton or line for the warmer weather but that will have to wait until I have all of my hats, cowls and mittens done for the tree farm shop.

THANK YOU to those who have visited since I last posted. I truely appreciate your visits. Please stop again soon!!
